Dispatch
Dispatch is B3N's software for car rental and hire companies. Each operator gets a booking site, a customer portal and one dashboard for the fleet, bookings, documents and money.

Many car hire businesses in Nairobi run on phone calls, WhatsApp, spreadsheets and paper files. Bookings clash, insurance and inspection documents expire without anyone noticing, and the owner cannot quickly see which car is where or who still owes money. Custom software for one operator costs too much, so most go without.
What it does
- A public booking site for each operator, with its branches, vehicle categories and prices.
- A customer portal with sign-in by one-time code.
- Fleet records with vehicle tracking, photo galleries and alerts before documents expire.
- Bookings from quote and hold to return, including overdue rentals.
- Payments and balances recorded against each booking.
- Separate roles for owners, reservations, fleet and finance staff, with a record of every change.
How it was built
Dispatch is one application with clear internal modules, so a small team can run it and each operator's data is kept separate. Every release goes through hundreds of automated tests and complete browser journeys, from a customer booking a car to finance closing it out.
Where it is now
The first release was accepted in September 2026. Current work covers clearer navigation, richer fleet details and a redesign.
