B3N Growth

Growth leadership for products that are launching, growing or ready to expand.

We lead the work that turns a good product into a growing business: who to sell to, what to say, how people find you, how sales follow up, how new customers get started and why they come back. We do it as a defined project, or as part of your team every week.

Start from where the business is

Growth work is as much about helping good products reach more of the right customers as it is about fixing what is stuck.

Launching something new

The product or offer is ready, or nearly, and you need the first paying customers.

Where we start

Choose the first segment, sharpen the offer, plan the launch, open the first channels and help with founder-led sales.

Growing, but not predictably

Customers arrive, but you cannot say why one month is better than the next.

Where we start

Find where prospects and customers drop out, rebuild the pipeline and fix the first weeks of the customer experience.

Working and ready to expand

You want a new segment, city, country, product line or partner channel.

Where we start

Learn from your best customers, plan the expansion, set up partnerships and turn happy customers into referrals.

What we lead, from first conversation to referral

Customers experience your marketing, sales, product and service as one journey, so we work across all of it. Each stage below has a decision behind it and an effect on revenue.

Growth stages, the question at each stage, the work involved and its effect on revenue
StageThe questionWhat we work onWhy it matters commercially
Customer understandingWho buys, why, and who walks away?Interviews, win and loss reviews, usage and sales data.Decides which customers get your time and budget.
Positioning and offerWhy choose you over the alternative?Message, packaging, pricing and proof.Raises conversion at every later step.
DistributionWhere do the right buyers already gather?Channel tests, partnerships, founder-led sales.Sets what each new customer costs to win.
SalesWho follows up, when and with what?Qualification, pipeline stages, follow-up and handoffs.Turns interest into qualified pipeline and closed revenue.
ActivationHow fast does a new customer get value?Onboarding, the first-use journey, setup help.Decides whether new customers stay past the first month.
RetentionWhy do customers come back, or leave?Service delivery, lifecycle messages, product value.Drives repeat revenue and margin.
Expansion and referralsWho buys more, or brings others?Upgrade paths, referral programmes, partner offers.Brings down acquisition cost over time.

Leading the function is different from doing every task in it. We set the plan, choose priorities, give each one an owner, do the hardest parts ourselves and run the weekly routine. Design, ad buying, content production and customer support usually stay with your team or with specialists we brief and manage for you.

The product is part of growth. If customers struggle to get started or do not see value quickly, we show your product team where and help fix it.

Diagnostic, launch or embedded leadership

Growth diagnostic

What happens
We review your customer, sales and product data, interview customers and the team, and trace the path from first contact to repeat purchase.
What you get
The main constraint on growth, the evidence for it and a practical plan for the next quarter.

Go-to-market or launch

What happens
We prepare and run an agreed launch or market approach: segment, offer, channels, sales process and onboarding, through to the first results.
What you get
A launch that has actually happened, the materials and systems behind it, and a report on what worked.

Embedded growth leadership

What happens
A B3N growth lead works inside your team on a regular schedule, owns the growth plan and runs the weekly routine below.
What you get
One person accountable for growth, a team working to clear priorities and reporting you can trust.

How scope is set

We agree the goal, the measures and the starting baseline first, then the work. Effort depends on how many segments or markets are in play, how many channels we run, the state of your customer data and CRM, the size of the team we work with and how much execution you want us to carry. We quote each engagement rather than publishing a rate card.

What changes inside your business next week

For embedded work we propose a simple routine and adjust it to your team. In the first week we agree a growth lead, a short list of priorities with owners and a weekly review of results.

  1. Start of the weekReview last week's numbers and what customers said. Choose no more than three priorities and give each an owner.
  2. During the weekSupport execution: join sales calls, fix onboarding steps, brief campaigns, meet partners, unblock the team.
  3. End of the weekLook at results against the priorities, write down what we learned and decide what changes next.
  4. Each monthA deeper review with leadership: pipeline, retention, unit economics and whether the plan still holds.

What an engagement produces

The mix depends on the stage and the scope. Everything lives in your tools and stays with you.

  • Customer and segment map
  • Positioning and offer brief
  • Go-to-market plan
  • Sales playbook and scripts
  • Pipeline stages set up in your CRM
  • Onboarding improvements
  • Lifecycle emails and messages
  • Referral programme design
  • Experiment backlog with results
  • Weekly and monthly commercial reporting

An example launch, decision by decision

An illustrative example written for this page, not a client story. It shows the kind of decisions a go-to-market engagement makes and what it leaves behind.

Illustrative example

Billing software for private clinics, six weeks before launch

The product works and a handful of clinics have tried it. The team wants paying customers.

Segment
Private clinics with two to ten doctors in two cities. Hospitals wait: longer sales cycles and procurement rules.
Offer
One monthly plan with setup included. Pilot clinics get a lower price for three months in return for permission to share their story.
Channels
Founder-led sales to a named list of clinics, plus two medical suppliers who already visit them. No paid ads until onboarding works.
Activation
A clinic counts as active when it sends its first real bill within seven days of signing up. Onboarding is redesigned around that moment.
Left behind
Segment map, offer brief, target list, sales script, pipeline stages in the CRM, onboarding checklist and a weekly dashboard.
Measured by
Qualified meetings booked, pilots that convert to paid plans and the share of new clinics that reach their first bill within a week.

How we measure growth work

We agree the measures and the starting point at the beginning and report against them: qualified pipeline, activation, retention and repeat purchase, contribution margin and how long it takes to earn back what a customer cost to win. No engagement can guarantee revenue.
