Capital and hands-on operating help for owners of service businesses and small software companies. It is at an early stage: we are taking first conversations with owners, and there is no open fund.
Frontier
A research agenda on how more computing can fit alongside the people who rely on the same electricity and water, and on the data AI depends on. We are looking for collaborators.

Payd lets people and businesses in Africa get paid from abroad and pay people across borders. B3N works across the product, leads the Payd Labs projects and runs the way the team ships.
Vabu runs ticketing, fan communities and paid streaming for events and creators in Kenya. It started inside Payd and is now its own product and platform, which B3N helps build.
Pandastarz connects brands with creators in Kenya for paid campaigns, with the money held until the work is delivered. B3N helps build the product, and its payments run on Payd.
People Markets is a pre-launch consumer markets product built around public figures. B3N coordinates delivery across its platform and runs the gates every release has to pass.
Dispatch is B3N's software for car rental and hire companies. Each operator gets a booking site, a customer portal and one dashboard for the fleet, bookings, documents and money.
Repeatable turns a business's customer history into repeat purchases, referrals, loyalty rewards and win-back campaigns, and shows which of them brought customers back.
Shey is a notebook for founders. You write rough, unfinished thoughts and it adds short, specific notes in the margin, the way a good adviser marks up a draft.
Several run on the hosting and deployment tools we built for ourselves. We also build for organisations such as Crystal Rides and the Nairobi Business Angels Network.
The same product, commercial and operating skills serve clients, our own products and, through Capital, businesses we may partner with. Frontier looks ahead at what new products will need. Work in one area often feeds another:
Payd customers wanted event tickets. Organisers wanted check-in, promoters and settlement. That became Vabu, its own product and platform, which we still help build.
A tool built to replace one-off deploy scripts now deploys several of our products and the client work we host.
