Shey

Shey is a notebook for founders. You write rough, unfinished thoughts and it adds short, specific notes in the margin, the way a good adviser marks up a draft.

The problem

Founders think in fragments: half an idea after a customer call, a worry about pricing, a note about a hire. Chat assistants answer those fragments with long replies that take the thinking over. Shey is built on the opposite idea: keep the founder's writing in front, and comment on it like a sharp colleague with a red pen.

What it does

You write in a plain notebook. Shey reads what you wrote and annotates it in the margin with highlights, questions and short side notes. Your writing stays in front; the AI comments on it rather than replacing it. You can give Shey context about your company and choose how it responds.

How it was built

Shey works with more than one AI model provider behind a single internal interface, so we can change models without changing the product. Sign-in uses email links or Google, and notebooks are private to the person who writes them.
